I am so thankful for having been given the opportunity to apply for this scholarship and be selected as a recipient. I am a freshman at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette majoring in kinesiology with a concentration in pre professional studies. This scholarship will help with my tuition for this upcoming semester and take some of the burden off me and my parents with having to pay for college. It will allow me to focus on my studies and grades while also trying to balance my social life. Thank you to R.I.S.E Shreveport for this amazing opportunity to help me further my education.
